Activity Reflection:

This activity initially reached the goal of the activity, some children did not understand the content of the story, need to strengthen the review after class. At the beginning of the activity, we set up a suspenseful display of Tyrannosaurus rex pictures, which greatly attracted the attention of children. When showing the picture of a pterosaur's mother and father taking care of a baby pterosaur, children can observe carefully and speak out boldly to tell what they see. Of course, there are still a lot of shortcomings in the activity. Some questions were repeated and did not need to be asked again. Some of the questions were repeated and did not need to be asked again. Many parts of the activity did not lead the children to summarize so that the activity process was not so fluent. The content of the picture book is too long, so the children's performance in the second half of the activity is not so active, the second half of the activity is not very exciting highlights so that the whole section of the activity is rushed to the end, and I will pay attention to the end of the activity in the future.

Activity Objectives:

1, preliminary appreciation of the story, understanding the storyline.

2. Through iconography and questioning, experience and understand the emotion of caring between characters.

3. Be able to boldly express their understanding of the work.

4. Guiding children to learn and sense life in stories and games.

5. Encourage children to guess, talk and move boldly.

Activity Preparation:

A book, matching icons, dinosaur puppets.

Activity process:

First, show the dinosaur puppets, arouse the interest of children to participate in activities.

Teacher: What kind of dragon is this? Do you know what kind of dinosaur this is? What about the small pterodactyl? Tyrannosaurus rex is the most ferocious predator in the Jurassic, he can gnaw the bones of his prey clean. What would happen if a weak pterosaur met the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex?

The children observe the dinosaur puppets.

Children guess and then listen to the teacher's description.

After the initial understanding of the T. rex and the baby pterodactyl, enjoy the story with questions.

Second, appreciate the literature

Teacher: look at the book to tell the story children to appreciate the story completely, understand the basic content of the story.

Teachers ask questions, the initial experience of caring emotions.

When the baby pterodactyl was born, how did mom and dad take care of it?

What did the baby pterodactyl do when the Tyrannosaurus rex was in trouble?

Teacher recalls the story while showing the pictures.

How did mom and dad take care of the baby pterodactyl when it was born? Was the baby pterodactyl afraid of the Tyrannosaurus Rex? What did the baby pterodactyl do? What about when it rained? What about being hungry? What did the T. rex do in the end?

The children recalled the relevant parts of the story and told the story boldly.

The basic plot of the story is clarified in the process of telling.

Re-understand the storyline by looking at the pictures.

Look at the picture and recall the story link again to further experience the emotion of caring.

Why did the baby pterodactyl help the Tyrannosaurus Rex? What did the little pterodactyl's mom say? Is the Tyrannosaurus Rex ready? How did he do it? Why did he do it?

What did the baby pterodactyl do? What did the T. rex want to say? Let's say it together. It turns out that Tyrannosaurus rex changed quietly, so what happens when they meet again? Ask the children to draw down what you think of.

By looking at the pictures and asking questions children again experience the emotion of caring freely express their own ideas and tell with their peers.

Children will talk about what they think and then draw pictures.

Activity Reflection:

On the basis of the "one study", I made some changes, taking into account two factors: one is that the content and plot of the picture book itself is relatively complex, and what kind of way to help children understand it, and the other is the age of the children. The second is the age of the children, what can they get from the content of the picture book for the middle school children? So the goal is set as initial appreciation of the story and understanding of the storyline. Through iconography and discussion, experience and understand the caring feelings between the characters. The children are able to express their understanding of the work boldly.

Originally in the trial class found that the middle class children's knowledge and understanding of dinosaurs is relatively single, some only know the name of one or two dinosaurs, for the habits of life basically do not know, so I think that in the preparation of knowledge and experience, the main thing is to let the children familiarize themselves with the name of dinosaurs and habits. However, when I borrowed a class for a lesson, I found that the children in this class had a deeper understanding of dinosaurs, and in the introduction part of the activity, the teacher only needed to create a problematic situation for the children to give full play to. So I have a deeper understanding of the importance of preparing for the children's needs in the classroom.

After telling the story, I first let the children go out of the story by asking general questions to recall the plot of the story and boldly tell their own understanding of the content of the story. Then through the pictures again to help the children to clarify the plot of the story of caring. Focusing on the two sets of pictures, I ask children to understand "why the baby pterodactyl decided to help the T. rex and what the T. rex did in the end." Repeat the passage that T. rex says after he has changed to experience and understand again the caring feelings between the characters. Every time I recalled the story with my children or showed them the icons, my children were able to tell me what was consistent with the book, which gave me the idea that the icons could help my children remember the plot of the story, and that I should also consider other ways to achieve this effect as well.

With the use of icons, children are able to retell stories based on the content of the picture, and they are also able to clarify the order of the development of the story. Discussions allow children to inspire each other and familiarize themselves with the story. Repeated observation of the images allows children to have a more detailed understanding of the storyline. A video presentation is not as effective as a picture narration or a slide show, but only a single picture can be seen.
