Introduction of beehive
Beehive is the place where bees thrive in the process of beekeeping and is the most basic beekeeping tool. 1857, Shi Lang, an American, invented the living-frame beehive, which was called the three great inventions of beekeeping together with the subsequent inventions of the base machine and the honey dispenser. It is the use of these beekeeping tools that has ended the traditional beekeeping methods of using earth nests and destroying nests for thousands of years, laid the foundation for new beekeeping and made a great leap in beekeeping production. At the beginning of last century, live beehives were introduced into China with Italian bees. At present, there are many beehives used in China, including ten-frame beehives, big-Dan beehives and twelve-frame square beehives. Their specifications and sizes are different, but their structural principles are basically the same. Beginners can buy other people's beehives from beekeepers, or make their own beehives according to the specifications.
