Lianzhou Social Festival
The fifth e-day after the beginning of spring is called Chunshe, usually a few days before the vernal equinox, in the second half of the second month of the lunar calendar.
The Spring Festival is also customarily called the She Festival in Lianzhou. Lianzhou security in the north of the dongtou, big peace, Qingcao, and other security in the south of the Qing Gang area of the Shantian, Longkou, Qing Gang on the Tang and other rural villages have the custom of social festival. Because the local dialect pronunciation of "She" and "Food" is close to each other, it is commonly called "Food Festival". Of course, on the day of the festival, eating is a must, and every family pounds mochi and serves a feast to guests and friends. So, on this day, don't miss the chance to experience the atmosphere of the festival in the areas of Qingcao, Dongtou, and Qinggang in Bao (however, this is not the custom in Bao Village in Bao Town, so you will have to wait for the Chunggyang Festival to go to Bao Village). It is rumored that in feudal times, there was also the custom of racing to the gods in the festival, but it is not seen much after the liberation of the country.
In addition to some villages around Bao Bao have had the custom of the festival, in the West Bank East Village, as well as Longping's Mabu, Yuanbi, and the Xingzi area, there is also the custom of the festival. Especially in Mabu, there is the custom of boiling duck eggs in oil, and if a family has an addition (marrying a daughter-in-law or giving birth to a child), relatives and friends will add some dishes to their own good rice and send it to the home of the relative who has an addition, which is very characteristic of the region.
