What material is Yunjin made of? Introduction to Yunjin
1. Brocade materials mostly use precious materials such as gold thread, silver thread, and peacock feather thread. These precious silk threads are often very fine. The computer room cannot generate heat in winter and cannot be blown by wind in summer. The conditions are extremely difficult.
2. Nanjing brocade is a traditional Chinese silk handicraft, known as "inches of brocade and every inch of gold". Its history can be traced back to 417 (the thirteenth year of Yixi in the Eastern Jin Dynasty) when a special brocade management office was established in the capital Jiankang (today's Nanjing).
The official office, Jin Office, has a history of 1,600 years.
Today, only Yunjin has maintained its traditional characteristics and unique techniques, and has retained the traditional jacquard wood machine weaving. This traditional hand-weaving technique that relies on human memory cannot be replaced by modern machines.

It was developed on the basis of inheriting the excellent tradition of brocade weaving in the past dynasties.

It represents the highest achievement of Chinese silk weaving techniques and condenses the essence of Chinese silk weaving techniques.

4. Among ancient silk fabrics, "brocade" represents the highest technical level, while Nanjing Yunjin brocade is the culmination of past dynasties' cotton weaving arts and crafts, ranking first among China's four famous brocades. It was a royal item in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
Due to its rich culture and connotation, the tribute is called by experts the last milestone in the history of ancient Chinese brocade craftsmanship. It is recognized as an "Oriental treasure" and "a unique thing in China". It is also a precious historical and cultural heritage of the Chinese nation and the world.
