At present, Chang Di Zhenguang Campus has two unique century-old buildings-Zhang Yu Academy and Chaoshan Guild Hall. It used to be the residence where the children of Luo people from various counties in Guangdong and children from eight counties in Chaozhou went to Guangzhou, the provincial capital, to take the imperial examination. Zhang Yu Academy was built in Guangxu 19 (A.D. 1893), which is the Luoshi Ancestral Hall in Guangdong. Li Hongzhang, Prime Minister of Qing Dynasty, inscribed "Zhang Yu Academy".

Chaozhou Hall, another ancient cultural relic located on campus, was built in the 13th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1874) and designed by the original team of Chenjiaci. It is the residence for Chaozhou candidates to take the imperial examination in Guangzhou, the provincial capital. Chaozhou Guild Hall has a typical architectural style of Guangdong in Qing Dynasty, which has high artistic value. Judging from the existing buildings of the Ritual Pavilion and the Central Temple, Chaozhou woodcarving, stone carving, brick carving, gray plastic carving and painting are all original.
