The steps to update the driver are as follows (this is the most suitable driver if the machine comes with a driver CD):

Start → Control Panel → System → Hardware → Device Manager → Click the Scan Hardware Change button above the toolbar to see if there are yellow warning signs in each driver bar. If so, the driver is not installed correctly. Right-click the device that needs to update the driver → update the driver → automatically install the updated driver → restart the computer.

You can also try to use the existing file recovery driver in the operating system:

Right-click the device → update the drive device → install from a list or a specified location → Next → click No Search. ... → Next → Click the option that matches your device → Next → Automatically install the updated driver → Restart the computer.
