Traditional art of Korean culture

There are various forms of traditional Korean folk music, mainly including pansuoli, agricultural music and Sandiao. Among them, Pansori, as a traditional folk art form of Korean nationality, is listed in the representative list of human intangible cultural heritage. Nongle and Sandiao are included in the important intangible cultural heritage of Korea.

Korean court music is music played for the royal family and nobles on the ancient Korean peninsula, including Yayue, Leyan and Tang Le. Among them, Yala was introduced from China; Yanle is the local music of the Korean peninsula; Tang Le was first introduced by Silla from the court of the Tang Dynasty, and then merged with the local music of the Korean Peninsula. As Korean court music, ancestral temple rites and music are listed in the representative list of human intangible cultural heritage together with ancestral temple rites and music.

As early as the Neolithic Age, people on the Korean peninsula began to use pottery. During the Three Kingdoms period, ceramic technology was further developed and improved on the Korean Peninsula. During the Koryo period, the manufacturing technology of celadon reached a very high level, but it mainly imitated China and did not form its own characteristics. During the Korean dynasty, white porcelain replaced celadon. . In the middle of the Korean dynasty, blue and white ceramics once again became the mainstream.
