The Chinese History of Hand-Drawn Animation
Hand-drawn animation is the originator of computer animation. When we talk about hand-drawn animation, we have to mention the Wan Brothers (Wan Lai Ming, Wan Gu Chan, Wan Chaochen, Wan Tiehuan). Wan Brothers can be called the originator of domestic animation. The Wan Brothers produced the first Chinese animation "The Big Trouble in the Drawing Room", which was ten minutes long. Subsequently, the Wan Brothers produced a number of animations, such as the first animated feature film "Princess Iron Fan" in 1941, which became popular in Southeast Asia. The Princess Iron Fan is more coherent than any other animation when viewed in detail. Princess Iron Fan" was born out of a sudden burst of inspiration after the Wan Brothers watched the 1937 Disney production of "Snow White" in the United States. The Princess Iron Fan" was the first Chinese animation that was neglected at the time, eclipsing "Snow White", which was a hit in Shanghai at the time.
