How long is the battery life of a DSLR camera when used normally to take pictures

The battery life of different models of cameras and their accompanying batteries is different. Whether or not the flash is on, whether or not the screen is used for framing, the external ambient temperature, etc., the amount of power consumed also varies.

Like the Canon 5D Mark IV, with batteries LP-E6N or LP-E6, the battery shooting capacity (based on CIPA test standards):

Shooting with the viewfinder: approx. 900 frames at 23°C, approx. 850 frames at 0°C

Shooting with the Live View: approx. 300 frames at 23°C, approx. 280 frames at 0°C

Short film Shooting time:

Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes at 23°C

Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes at 0°C.
