But China has a large population, and food security is more important. In order to beautify and green this country, I think it is not enough to shovel wheat and plant trees on the roadside and occupy a lot of cultivated land. The state has repeatedly emphasized and promulgated laws to strictly restrict the use of basic farmland for non-agricultural purposes, and many of the land occupied by roadside tree planting is basic farmland. In order to occupy roadside cultivated land and plant trees, some places provide high funds to subsidize the occupied land, which increases the burden of financial reform.

The protection and construction of green mountains and green rivers cannot be carried out only on the surface. Efforts should be made to plant trees and grass on barren hills or beaches to achieve real green mountains and green hills. People can see that the greening work here is well done, not only occupying cultivated land on the roadside to plant trees. In fact, there are only a few trees in the distance or deep, so it is impossible to really improve the environment.

Green water and green mountains are our pursuit, but we just impulsively did some face-saving things, not efforts. We didn't do a good job of greening where we should gradually afforest. Not only can you not get green mountains and green rivers, but you will also destroy the environment.
