What do you catch lobster with?

Lobsters can be caught with earthworms, frogs, snails, chicken intestines and pig lungs.

1, earthworm

The most common bait for crayfish is earthworm. Earthworms can be used as bait to attract crayfish, because the smell of earthworms is relatively heavy, and the smell can spread far in water, and lobsters like to eat it. The advantage of using earthworm as bait is that it is easy to find and obtain, and it smells heavy and lobsters like it. But the disadvantage is that it is very strong and easy to be caught by lobster's big claws. I may have caught a dozen lobsters and lost them, so I need to change the bait again.

Earthworms can be found in some soft and moist soil by using a small shovel or turning over bricks and rotten wood. The bigger the earthworm, the better. The caught earthworm is kept in a box full of soil, so that it can survive for a long time.

2. Frogs

Frogs are also very suitable bait, and they are also very common. Frogs also have a strong "fresh" flavor, which crayfish like. Frogs have one advantage over earthworms, that is, they are much stronger than earthworms, so they are not easily torn off by lobsters, and they can fish for more than half an hour without changing bait.

In addition, frogs are much larger than earthworms, and it is common for many lobsters to take the bait at the same time, which is much more refreshing than using earthworms. Of course, using frogs as bait also has disadvantages, that is, frogs are more difficult to catch than earthworms, and children growing up in rural areas can't catch them at all.

3.snails

Snails can barely be used as bait without digging earthworms or catching frogs. Of course, snails are not particularly heavy compared with earthworms and frogs, and they are not the favorite of lobsters. Moreover, the meat is too tight and greasy, and it is easy to slip off when clamped with pliers. If there is no bait, you can barely use it.

4. Other bait

Of course, the bait above has to be searched and caught. If you really don't want to find bait or can't catch bait, go to the vegetable market to buy ingredients suitable for lobster fishing, usually with fishy bait, which should attract lobsters. For example, chicken intestines and pig lungs are also more suitable. Also, pork is ok, but it is far from the first two.
