What are the regulations for cliff diving competitions?

Cliff diving competition regulations: men for 23 ~ 28 meters, women for 18 ~ 23 meters, athletes into the water point of the water depth shall not be less than 5 meters. Athletes can jump directly from the rock, or from the rock on a 1-meter wide, length from the farthest end of the mountain protruding from the rock not less than 1 meter jump. The competition is scored by seven referees, and the scoring is similar to that of the current Olympic Games, except that the coefficient of difficulty is calculated slightly differently from that of the Olympic diving competition. Some of the athletes' coefficients of difficulty can reach more than 5.0.

The first World Cliff Diving Championships was held in Switzerland in July 1997, 12 outstanding athletes from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Britain, Denmark, Yugoslavia and Switzerland took part in the competition, which has been held four times so far, and now there are more than 300 professional athletes in the world. The existing World High Diving Federation is responsible for the management and organization of the relevant competitions and is based in Switzerland.

In the local, according to our understanding, cliff diving activities in China's individual provinces and cities have individual non-professional players have been engaged in this activity, but their movements are not yet very standardized. At present, Haikou Fangyuan Water World Co. Ltd. in China's Hainan Province has hired a few people to engage in the high-altitude diving performance program.

Chinese Swimming Association in Liancheng County, Fujian Province has organized China's first international cliff diving Grand Prix event. Within a short period of time, diving platforms with international cliff diving competition standards were constructed on the cliffs along the shore of Shimen Lake in Guanzhi Mountain, with heights of 20 meters and 28 meters respectively.
