What are the basic parts of an automobile?

Automobiles are generally composed of four basic parts: engine, chassis, body and electrical equipment.

One, the car engine:

Engine is the power plant of the car, composed of 2 major institutions and 5 systems: crank linkage, gas distribution mechanism, cooling system, fuel supply system, lubrication system, the point system, the starting system consists of, but diesel than gasoline engines less - an ignition system. Second, the cooling system: generally by the water tank, water pump, radiator, fan, thermostat, water temperature gauge and drain switch. Automobile engines use two cooling methods, namely, air cooling and water cooling. General automobile engines are mostly water-cooled.

Two, the lubrication system: engine lubrication system by the oil pump, set of filters, oil filter, oil pipeline, pressure limiting valve, oil gauge, pressure-sensitive plugs and dipstick and other components.

Three, the fuel supply system: gasoline engine fuel system including gasoline tank, gasoline table, gasoline pipe, gasoline filter, gasoline pump, carburetor, air filter and so on. Diesel engine fuel system includes injection pumps, injectors and regulators and other major components and diesel tanks, oil pumps, oil-water separator, diesel fuel filter, injection advance and high and low pressure fuel lines and other auxiliary devices.
