How to adjust the drift of traditional pole fishing?

First, find the bottom before drifting. The weighted lead pendant throws the main line with double hooks to the fishing point, and then moves the float upward until it is flush with the water surface, which proves that the lead pendant has reached the end. In this way, we can know the state of the water bottom. Such as: water depth, whether the water bottom is flat, whether there are sundries, etc.

2. Move the float down about 20-30 cm, which is longer than the float, then cut off a little lead skin and throw it at the fishing spot. If the float is completely submerged, continue to cut the lead skin. Don't worry, you must cut it bit by bit until the float is above the water. In general, I will adjust it to four eyes first, and the soft tail drift can be two or three eyes. This is an adjustment.

Third, set up fishing eyes next. First, move the float upward about 20 cm.

Then throw bait at the fishing point and press the waterline. Don't worry. If the float sinks into the water, the waterline is not long enough. Then move the float upward, each time 10 cm or about 5 cm. Continue to hang the bait and throw the rod until the float comes out of the water again to the original adjustment, and then continue to move the float up and down for a short distance, usually one eye or half an eye. According to the actual situation, determine the final number of fishing eyes, that is, fishing eyes.
