How to make the bed?

The standard process of bed making is as follows:

Method 1:

1. The structure of solid wood bed includes bed legs and rectangular bedstead.

2. The bedstead comprises two horizontal bedsteads and two vertical bedsteads, two sides of the horizontal bedstead are fixedly connected with bed legs, two ends of the inner side of the bedstead are provided with horizontal first grooves, the first grooves of two adjacent bedsteads are connected with oblique valves, two ends of the oblique valves are provided with 45-degree inclined planes, and the inclined planes are provided with first flanges corresponding to the first grooves; The inner side of the bedstead is fixedly connected with a horizontal support rod, and the support rod on the longitudinal bedstead is provided with a second groove that moves up and down, and one side of the second groove is provided with an opening.

The height of the opening is the same as the length of the second groove, a transverse valve is arranged between the opposite second grooves, and two ends of the transverse valve are respectively provided with second flanges corresponding to the second grooves. The invention has the advantages of convenient assembly, stable structure and convenient application.

Method 2:

Purchase the required materials and accessories. You need a circular saw, several L-shaped brackets and 3-inch (7.62 cm) long screws, some MDF or plywood, and several boards of different sizes.

Build a basic bedstead. Two 75-inch 2x 12 wooden boards and two 57-inch 2x 12 wooden boards are spliced into a rectangular frame with an area of 60x75 inches (152.4x 190.5cm) with standard butt screws.

Install the bottom support frame. Insert the remaining two 57-inch 2x 12 wooden boards into the bedstead, divide the original rectangle into three parts and tighten it. After this step, you can put the formed bedstead aside.

Add the bedplate bracket. Insert the remaining two 67-inch 2x4 wooden boards into the bedstead, divide the rectangle into four parts and fix them with screws.

Reinforce corners and seams. L-shaped brackets are used to reinforce every corner of the bedstead and bed floor. At the same time, the L-shaped bracket can be further reinforced at other corners or joints.

Make a bed. Draw the corresponding outline on the offset plate and cut it to match the size of the bed bottom plate. Of course, sometimes one offset printing plate is not enough, so you need two offset printing plates. When installing the offset bed surface, the bed surface and the bed plate should be fixed together with screws, and the bed bottom plate should not be exposed.

Painting. Use sandpaper to smooth the board, and then color your bed with your favorite color.

The bed board can be fixed with L-shaped bracket or not. Finally, buy a mattress of the corresponding size, and your bed can be used!
