Wuyi Rock Tea is a traditional famous tea in China, and it is an oolong tea with rock rhyme (rock bones and flowers) quality characteristics. Produced in Wuyishan area, southeast of Xiujia in northern Fujian, tea trees grow in rock crevices.
Wuyi Rock Tea has the fragrance of green tea and the sweetness of black tea, which is the best in China Oolong Tea. Wuyi rock tea belongs to semi-fermented green tea, and its production method is between green tea and black tea. The most famous Wuyi rock tea is Dahongpao.
Key points of Wuyi rock tea storage
1, the optimum storage temperature of tea is 0 ~ 10℃, and the storage period is not more than 4 months at the temperature of 15℃ and not more than 2 months at the temperature above 25℃, otherwise obvious discoloration and odor will occur.
2, light can accelerate the oxidation of tea, tea should not be stored in transparent glass and plastic containers, nor should it be dried in the sun. Wuyi rock tea stored at home can be put in the refrigerator. The storage period of Wuyi rock tea should not exceed 1 year even under the conditions of moisture-proof, light-proof and suitable temperature.
