What are the connection methods of steel structure?

There are three kinds of connection methods for steel structure: weld connection, bolt connection and rivet connection.

1, weld connection

Weld connection is through the heat generated by the electric arc to make the welding rod and the weldment partially melted, and condensed into a weld by cooling, so as to connect the weldment into one.

2, bolt connection

Bolt connection is through the bolt fastener to connect the connectors into one. Bolt connection is divided into ordinary bolt connection and high-strength bolt connection two kinds.

Advantages: construction process is simple, easy to install, especially suitable for site installation connection, but also easy to dismantle, suitable for the need to install and dismantle the structure and temporary connection.

3, riveted connection

Riveted connection is one end with a semi-circular prefabricated nail head rivets, the nail rod will be burned red and quickly inserted into the nail holes in the connector, and then rivet gun will be riveted into the other end of the nail head, in order to make the connection to achieve the fastening.
