Shou'an Town is located in the east gate of Pujiang County, the southwest edge of the Chengdu Plain, the town covers an area of 87.76 square kilometers, belonging to the county's second largest town, is the key town established in Chengdu City. Shou'an Township and Meishan City, Qionglai City, Pengshan County, as well as the county's Heshan Township, Xilai Township, Changqiu Township adjacent to the 108 line, Puxin Road, Shouwu Road, Shoumei Road, the four major roads through the territory, the Pujiang River, Linxi River converge here. The town is 12 kilometers and 55 kilometers away from the county town and Chengdu respectively.

Shou'an is a famous cultural town in western Sichuan with a long history of 2075 years, and has been a strategic location and a major town for trade and distribution since ancient times, enjoying the reputation of "the first town" of silk coming from the south since ancient times. Shou'an has a superior geographic location and obvious transportation advantages. The Chengya Expressway crosses the town and has a large overpass to connect the road.
