After the sample is determined, cut the rice paper into the same size and specifications as the design sample and stack it neatly. Punch a hole with an iron needle (the punched part should be at the carving place), put paper nails (cut into triangles with raw rice paper and screwed into the shape of nails) into the pinhole and tighten them, cut off the redundant parts at both ends with scissors, and tighten each paper nail with a hammer, so that the manuscript is fixed.

Orthographic engraving: carving space, keeping the lines of objects and highlighting the outline of objects in the picture.

Lettering: It is to engrave the outline of the object image on the pattern and engrave the line part.

Mixed Yin and Yang: There are both Yin and Yang engravings in a work, which makes the work more substantial and diverse, and the picture is harmonious and unified.

Yin and yang: upper yin and lower yang, left yin and right yang or vice versa.
