The custom of Chizhou Spring Festival

(Stir-fry "Liu Bao")

In Chizhou in the early years, there was a New Year atmosphere around the twentieth day of the twelfth lunar month. Every household is busy frying "buds" (corn kernels) and peanuts and making instant frozen rice candy. People from better families can make sesame candy and peanut candy. "Liu Bao" is fried by every household, but only during the Chinese New Year.
