In the process of writing Liu Qiaoer, Xin received enthusiastic help from many literary and art workers. The cooperation between Xin and these comrades was pleasant, which initiated the joint creation of traditional opera workers and new literary and art workers and set a good example for the innovative development of traditional opera art. Later, in the novel Xianglinsao adapted from Lu Xun's novel of the same name, Xin successfully shaped the artistic image of Xianglinsao, a working woman who was devastated and persecuted in feudal society. Her singing also shows profound artistic charm, which further develops the new singing art.

The new art has made remarkable achievements, and the new art is unique among many Pingju schools, becoming the representative of Pingju innovation. Xin is a disciple of Qi Baishi, a famous master of Chinese painting. After leaving the stage because of disability, New Xia Feng is still full of enthusiasm for life.
