Is Mother's Day a traditional festival in China?

Mother's Day is not a traditional festival in China.

Mother's Day originated in America and was initiated by Amanmjarvis (1864-1948). She has never been married and has been living with her mother. Amanm was heartbroken when her mother died on 1905.

Two years later (1907), Amam and her friends began to write letters to influential ministers, businessmen and parliamentarians for support, thus making Mother's Day a legal holiday. Amam believes that children often ignore their feelings for their mothers. She hopes that mothers can save energy and make people think more about what their mothers have done for their families.

The first Mother's Day was held in West Virginia and Pennsylvania on May 1908. In this festival, carnation is chosen as a flower dedicated to mother and passed down from generation to generation. 19 13, the us congress passed a bill to designate the second Sunday in may as the legal mother's day.

Features of Mother's Day:

During the festival, every mother will be filled with joy and accept roses or other bouquets, sweets, books and souvenirs presented by her children and husbands, especially when they receive cards made by their children, which say "Mom, I love you" childishly with crayons.

But the most precious and generous gift is to free them from daily housework and relax for a whole day. On this day, husbands and children in many families do all the housework. Mom doesn't have to cook, wash dishes or wash clothes. Many families still have the custom of waiting on their mothers for breakfast in bed. Mother's Day has won the support of people all over the world since it was founded.
