The history of Zhuzhou

Zhuzhou, known as Jianning in ancient times, is also known as Danzhou. In 2 14 A.D., the Three Kingdoms Wu Dong established Jianning County here. In the first year of Tang Zhenguan, Jianning was merged into Xiangtan. In ancient times, there were many local trees, and Xiangjiang River spanned many sandbars, so Zhuzhou was also called Zhuozhou. Shao Xiyuan in the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 190) was officially named Zhuzhou.

On August 3rd, 1949, Zhuzhou declared its liberation. It is a Hunan industrial zone with great future development prospects. The town covers an area of 36 square kilometers and has a population of 459 14 ... According to the development trend, it is planned to set up a city, and the towns near the suburbs are planned to be included in the urban area, with the area increased from 36 square kilometers to 48 square kilometers, the population increased from 45910000, and the number of townships increased from 3 to 25. "(Note: D is divided by population) On June 29th, the Commissioner's Office of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan decided to announce the establishment of Zhuzhou Municipal People's Government, which was officially opened to the public from July 1 day. 1953, Zhuzhou was changed to a provincial city. In March, according to the notice of Xiangtan District Commissioner's Office on February 20 1953, the suburbs of Zhuzhou were divided into the eastern suburbs of Zhuzhou and the northern suburbs of Zhuzhou, and * * * governed 32 towns and villages. On June 5th, Cheng Qian, Chairman of Hunan Provincial People's Government, issued a provincial government order, and Zhuzhou authorized Xiangtan to take charge of the leadership.

1955 On February 22nd, with the approval of Zhuzhou Municipal Committee, the eastern suburbs of Zhuzhou and the northern suburbs of Zhuzhou were merged into the suburbs of Zhuzhou, and the suburban office of Zhuzhou was established to govern 22 towns.

On March 23rd, 1956, Hunan Provincial Party Committee issued a notice, which decided that Zhuzhou Municipal Committee would be directly led by the Provincial Party Committee, and hoped that all relevant departments would handle the handover formalities immediately. On April 9, Hunan Provincial People's Committee issued a notice: "It is now decided to change Zhuzhou Municipal People's Committee into the direct leadership of our association. The construction, real estate, labor, health, business and other departments of the association were all changed to bureaus. I hope to inform the relevant departments to handle the handover procedures separately. On September 5, 1958, the township-level organizational system was abolished, and five townships under the jurisdiction of Zhuzhou Suburb merged to form Zhuzhou Suburb People's Commune.

On June 26th 1959, with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Committee No.335, the five street offices established in Zhuzhou City 1955 and 1958 were cancelled, and five district people's committees were established respectively, namely, Center, Qingshuitang, Hetangpu, Tian Xin and Dongjiaduan. On July 23rd 1960, with the approval of Zhuzhou Municipal People's Committee, five urban people's communes were established, namely, Center, Qingshuitang, Hetangpu, Tian Xin and Dongjiaduan, which were co-located with the five district people's committees of Center, Qingshuitang, Hetangpu, Tian Xin and Dongjiaduan, respectively, with two brands and one team. It has jurisdiction over 37 neighborhood committees, 682 residents' groups, 20 farms and 205 production teams, with a total population of 186468 and a total area of 150 square kilometers.

1April, 963, Zhuzhou Suburb People's Committee was abolished, and Zhuzhou Agriculture, Forestry and Water Office directly led rural areas and cooperatives.

1965 On April 30th, the State Council decided to establish Zhuzhou County at its155th plenary meeting. Part of the administrative area of Zhuzhou City is the administrative area of Zhuzhou County. After the establishment of Zhuzhou County, the county is divided into eight districts, namely Lukou, Gantian, Zhu Ting, Sanmen, Guanbai, Gu Yue Peak, Leidashi, Longtoupu and Lukou Town (directly under the town). * * * governs 27 communes, 4 towns and 4 agricultural, forestry, fishery and tea farms. * * * The population is 367,932. 1970 65438+1On October 20th, the State Council (Guo Fa No.53) agreed to the administrative division adjustment plan of Zhuzhou City, and cancelled five districts of Zhuzhou Central District, Qingshuitang District, Dongjiadan District, Tian Xin District and Hetang District. On July 8th, according to the document No.53 of the State Council, Zhuzhou City established East District (county level), South District (county level) and North District (county level). There are more than 79,000 people in the Eastern District, which has four sub-district offices, namely, Tian Xin, Cigutang, Yuetang and Songjiaqiao. The population of the Southern District is more than 7 1 10,000, including Dongjiaduan, Dongfeng (1972,165438+1changed its name to Jianning on October 29th) and three sub-district offices. There are more than 75,000 people in the North District, which has jurisdiction over three sub-district offices: Qingshuitang, Xiangshiling and Baishigang (renamed as Zhejiatu on February 30th, 1975). The population of food markets in five districts of Tian Xin and Jianning is 57 1 1 1, and people's communes of Qingshui, Hetangpu and Jianning have been established. Hetang District: governs Yuetang, Cigutang and Songjiaqiao in the former East District, and Zhao Ming, Hetangpu (excluding Xinmin, Tian Xin and Shuangfeng Village), Dieping, Tea Garden, Liu Dong and Sanqiao Village in Longtoupu Town in the former suburbs. District People's Government in Xinhua East Road. Lushu District: governs four streets in the former southern district, Jianning, Dongjiaduan and Hejiatu in the former northern district, and three towns in the former suburbs, Quchi, Jianning and Wulidun. The District People's Government is located in Songlu Road. Shifeng District: governs Xiangshiling and Qingshuitang in the former North District and Tian Xin in the former East District, Longtoupu Town in the former suburbs (excluding the three villages of Tea Garden, Liu Dong and Sanqiaoqiao), and Xinmin, Tian Xin and Shuangfeng Villages in Qingshui, Tian Yun, Hehua Township and Hetangpu Township. District People's Government is located in Jianshe North Road. Tianyuan District: governs the gardening fields in Qunfeng Town, Ma Jiahe Township and the suburbs of Zhuzhou County. The District People's Government is located at Huanghe North Road. In July, the Hunan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of the administrative divisions of Zhuzhou City: (1) Tianyuan District: Xiangjiang River in the east and north, Qunfeng Town and Leidashi Town in the south, Zhuzhou City and Xiangtan City in the west. (2) Lusong District: bounded by the border between the former suburb and Zhuzhou County in the southeast, Xiangjiang River in the west, Baishigang River (old river), Beijing-Guangzhou Railway (west line) and Jianning Township and Zhaoming Line in the north. (3) Hetang District: bounded by the border between Zhuzhou City and Changsha City in the east, Zhuzhou County in the south, Zhao Ming Township and Jianning Township in the west, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway (West Line) and Baishigang River (Old River) in the west, and Dieping Township and Tianyun Township in the north. (4) Shifeng District: Baishigang River (Old River) in the east, Xiangjiang River in the south, Zhuzhou City and other provinces and cities in the north, and Zhuzhou City and Xiangtan City in the west. (5) The adjusted administrative divisions of municipal districts shall be implemented from 1 August, 9971day.
