National Treasure Carpet 20 10 of China Iranian Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo
Stepping into the Iran Pavilion, a huge map is hung on the left wall, and the world-famous "Silk Road" is marked with orange lines. The mottled map tells the long history and brilliant footprint of Iran. In the lobby on the first floor, there is a loom for weaving carpets, which contains all kinds of raw materials for weaving carpets. Visitors can touch these wool materials themselves. Climbing the stairs, there are exquisite Persian carpets, each of which is expensive, most of which are tens of thousands, and the weaving time needs more than 1 year. Located in the exhibition hall on the second floor, a carpet covered by a glass frame is only 22 cm long and 17 cm wide. It is the smallest Persian carpet in the world, but its value is as high as 3.8 million yuan. It turns out that this carpet is all silk, and the image on it will be magnified with a magnifying glass for at least 20 years.
Authentic Persian carpets are handmade, which is the main reason for their high value. Authentic Persian carpets are made by scattered family workshops, and there is no industrial assembly line, which often requires great patience from the producers. A carpet 3 meters long and 2 meters wide takes at least 3 years on average.
The production technology of Persian carpets is closely related to Persian culture. The patterns on the carpet are all taken from the daily life of Iranians, such as Persian architecture, writing, animals and plants. In weaving, it is more particular and time-consuming. In the dyeing technology, natural pigments extracted from plants and insects are used, and the color of the carpet remains unchanged for a long time. Because the carpet was integrated into the ancient Persian civilization, it gradually evolved into a work of art, recording the traditions and changes of Iran. The reporter found that on these exquisite carpets, in addition to traditional patterns, there are many modern realistic images reflecting people and animals.
The whole exhibition hall of Iran Pavilion is divided into three parts, which not only introduces the history of Iran, but also introduces its present situation and future. The theme of the Iran Pavilion is "the integration of urban multiculturalism". In order to echo the theme of the Shanghai World Expo, the pavilion focuses on the unique charm of Iranian cities and villages.
Located in the huge spherical exhibition hall on the first floor of the Iran Pavilion, many Iranian scientific and technological explorations are displayed. The most attractive thing for tourists is a harp without strings. How should I play this? I saw the staff press the button on the harp, and the upper end of the harp emitted 14 red beams. When fingers pluck the strings, the harp will make corresponding sounds. This is a high-tech laser harp, which was originally placed in the Science Museum in Iran. The main purpose of this exhibition is to arouse young people's interest in music and technology.
