What folk culture does Baoding have?
Baoding folk culture includes: Baoding old tunes, Zhuozhou shadow puppets, Mancheng inch stilts, Gaoluo ancient music, Xiongxian Zhaogang ancient music, etc.
1. Baoding Lao Tiao
Lao Tiao is also known as Lao Tiao Bangzi and Laosheng Tiao. It evolved from the fashionable order "Hexi Diao" in the Yuan Dynasty. Baoding Laodiao is one of the ancient local operas in Hebei Province, and it is also a unique local opera style in Baoding. The early Lao Tiao operas mainly focused on Sheng and Jing, and the two lines of Sheng and Jing were different in different tunes. They sang Laosheng Tune in the same tune, so it was called Lao Tiao. To distinguish it from Hebei Bangzi, it was named Lao Tiao Bangzi, which is the type of Lao Tiao opera.
2. Zhuozhou Shadow Puppet
Zhuozhou Shadow Puppet is a "shadow play" popular in Zhuozhou, Dingxing and other places in Baobei. Wenchang accompaniment instruments used in performances include Jinghu, Erhu, Sihu, Yangqin, Xiaosanxian, etc., along with accompaniment music and filler. Wu music also includes big cymbals, big cymbals, etc. The music structure is a combination of banqiang and qupai. The main banqiang includes touban, erban, qinqiang, duoban, resurrecting tune and sad tune. The qupai includes "three catches seven" and so on. The professions are divided into Sheng, Dan, Jing and Chou, and each profession has its own unique singing style.
3. Mancheng Cunqiao
Cunqiao originated from Dongyuhe Village in Mancheng County. It is said to have evolved from palace dance and has a history of more than 200 years. In the early 1990s, the Mancheng County Cultural Center organized personnel to go deep into the countryside to excavate and sort out the endangered ancient cultural heritage and put it on the stage and screen. On the first day of the first lunar month in 1991, the inch-swing dance "Little Sheepherd" choreographed by the county was broadcast many times on CCTV.
4. Gaoluo Ancient Music
The ancient name of Gaoluo Village in Yi'an Town, Laishui County is "Gaoluo". "Gaole" is an ancient, original folk music, and the sacrificial music in it is said to be the survival of the "Yellow Emperor's Family Temple" sacrificial music created by Ling Lun, the ancestor of Chinese music, 4,800 years ago. "Gaoluo Concert" is a folk instrumental music performance in which Gaoluo villagers voluntarily participate, rehearse and perform voluntarily. In 2006, the Jizhong Sheng and Wind Music (Gaoluo Concert) was approved to be included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
5. Xiongxian Zhaogang Ancient Music
Baoding Zhaogang Concert was founded during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and the inherited music connotation and notation can be traced back to the late Tang Dynasty. It consists of Buddhist music, Taoist music, and folk music. The forms of expression include singing and instrumental music. The instruments used and the inherited performance methods are still performed in the traditional way. Wind music includes pipes, shengs, flutes, and gongs. Percussion music includes drums, Cymbals, cymbals, and clangs.
