What are the characteristics of Hydraulic Static Pile Driver compared with traditional pile driver?
The static compression precast piles are mainly applied to soft soil, general clay foundation. During the pile pressing process, the weight of the pile driving machine itself (including counterweight) is used as the reaction force to overcome the pile side resistance and pile end resistance during the pile pressing process.
When the prefabricated pile is sunk into the soil under vertical static pressure, the soil around the pile undergoes rapid and intense extrusion, the pore water pressure in the soil rises sharply, and the shear strength of the soil is greatly reduced, so that the pile sinks very quickly.
The traditional pile driver consists of pile hammer, pile frame and ancillary equipment. The pile hammer is attached between two parallel vertical guide rods (commonly known as gantry) at the front of the pile frame, and lifted by lifting hook. The pile frame is a steel tower with a winch at the rear for lifting the pile and the pile hammer. In front of the pile frame, there are two guide rods to control the direction of piling, so that the piles can be accurately driven into the ground according to the designed orientation. The basic technical parameters of the pile driver are the weight of the impacting part, the kinetic energy of the impact and the frequency of the impact. Pile hammer can be divided into drop hammer, steam hammer, diesel hammer, hydraulic hammer and so on according to the power source of movement.
The piling machine is a piling machine (PilingMachine[1]) that utilizes the impact force to penetrate the pile into the ground. It consists of a pile hammer, pile frame and ancillary equipment (see color chart). The pile hammer is attached to the front of the pile frame between two parallel vertical guide rods (commonly known as the gantry), and is lifted by a lifting hook. The pile frame is a steel tower with a winch at the rear for lifting the pile and hammer. In front of the pile frame, there is a guiding frame consisting of two guide rods to control the direction of piling, so that the pile can be accurately driven into the ground in accordance with the designed orientation. The tower and the guide frame can be deflected together to drive inclined piles. The guide frame can also be extended downward along the tower to drive underwater piles along embankments or piers. The piling frame can be rotated and moved. The basic technical parameters of a pile driver are the weight of the impacting part, the kinetic energy of the impact and the frequency of the impact. Pile hammers can be divided into drop hammers, steam hammers, diesel hammers, hydraulic hammers, etc. according to the power source of the movement.
