Heritage Preservation of Garden Culture

"Chinese gardens are the mother of all gardens in the world, and Suzhou gardens are the outstanding representatives of Chinese gardens", this is the 21st plenary session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee's evaluation of the classical gardens in Suzhou. According to the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage and the Regulations on the Protection and Management of Suzhou Gardens, Suzhou actively protects the gardens, consolidates and expands the achievements of the declaration; y excavates the cultural connotation of the gardens, and carries forward the Wu culture. Adhere to the principle of "repairing the old as the old", in accordance with the policy of "protection, diversion, restoration and development", so that the city of gardens lives up to its name. Suzhou Garden and Greening Bureau from the world counterparts to introduce advanced technology and management experience, the use of international standards for the implementation of the protection of classical gardens, management and standardization, the establishment of a modern garden management system: First, restorative protection; second is the excavation of protection, such as the Humble Administrator's Garden reproduction of the Ming Dynasty Wen Zhengming "Thirty-one Scenes," Canglang Pavilion reproduced the precious relics of Lin Zexu, and so on; third is the constructive protection; fourth is the convergence of the protection, the Humble Administrator's Garden The Humble Administrator's Garden was honored as one of the first 4A grade attractions in China and passed ISO9002 quality system certification. Liouyuan Garden, Lion Grove, and the Garden of the Master of the Nets have also been rated as 4A-level attractions. Suzhou Garden has continuously launched a series of special tourism activities, such as Huqiu Art Flower Festival, Golden Autumn Temple Fair, Humble Administrator's Garden Azalea Festival, Lotus Festival, Wu Culture Activities in Liouyuan Garden, Night Tour in Netshiyuan Garden and Narcissus Exhibition in Yiyuan Garden, Seasonal Flower Exhibition in Lion Grove Garden, Maple Festival in Tianping Garden, Moon Festival in Shihu Crosstown, Orchid and Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Canglang Pavilion Garden, and Special Tour to Couples' Garden Waterfront, etc. Suzhou Garden also grasps four links, namely, "Protection, Development, Management, and Service", In 2003, it was named by the Central Civilization Committee as an advanced unit in the creation of civilized industry in China.
