What's the difference between a mind map and the notes you usually take?

Mind mapping is suitable for concise analysis and combing of local problems. Simple analysis, record the outline. Each node is a simple summary, not too many nodes.

For knowledge notes, the outline is just a skeleton and cannot be regarded as the subject of knowledge. Knowledge is flesh and blood, and it is flesh and blood that constitutes the skeleton. Only by deeply understanding and experiencing his flesh and blood life can we better understand knowledge, experience the foundation and life of knowledge, and truly understand and develop knowledge. Taking bones as the subject of knowledge will lead to dogma and loss of life. Knowledge is not concise, and catering to simple and easy desires is a contempt and disaster for real knowledge. Good notes must contain large paragraphs of the original text.

Reference: Mind maps and notes. Don't take mind maps as notes.
