The origin of the name

Baotu Spring did not have a formal name at first, because Baotu Spring is the source of ancient Luoshui, so Baotu Spring is often called "Luotu Spring" in history. Li Daoyuan, a geographer of the Northern Wei Dynasty, wrote in the Notes on Water Classics: "The long water flows out of the southwest of the old city of Licheng County, and the spring is full, and the water is like a wheel." Later, there was a temple dedicated to E Huang and Nv Ying on the spring water, also known as the "Goose Ying Water".
