What is a hut and a kiln
Both are a name for housing.
The thatched hut is a simple house with a roof thatched with reeds and straw. A kiln is an ancient form of housing for people living on the Loess Plateau in northwest China.
The kiln is a product of the Loess Plateau and a symbol of the local working people in northern Shaanxi. Kilns generally have a cliff type kiln, sunken kiln, free-standing and other forms. The cliff type is dug horizontally on the natural soil cliff, 3-4 meters wide, and up to 10 meters deep.
