Located in Changshu City, Shajiabang Revolutionary History Memorial Hall is an educational exhibition hall established to commemorate and promote the glorious tradition of Shajiabang military and civilian, covering an area of 670,000 square meters. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Shajiabang, located on the shore of Yangcheng Lake, became a guerrilla base in Suzhou, Changshu and Taihu. Relying on the support of the local people and utilizing the natural geographical conditions of Yangcheng Lake area, our army carried out arduous armed struggle against the Japanese.
