Jiangsu to hold 13 commemorative mourning activities before and after the 2018 National Public Memorial Day

2018 is the 81st anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre tragedy, and Dec. 13 is the fifth National Public Memorial Day for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre of the invading Japanese army. People's Daily was informed at a press conference in Nanjing on the 21st that Jiangsu will organize 13 mass commemorative memorial activities around the National Public Ceremony Day, such as youth remembrance, online memorial service, Zijin grass action, and "peace wishing wall" signing activities.

At 10:00 a.m., commemorative activities will be held simultaneously at 17 Nanjing Massacre burial sites, 12 communities and some patriotic education bases.
