What ancient towns are there in Fujian?
Baisheng Village, a small fishing village located in the north of Pingtan Island in Fuzhou, covers an area of only 0.56 square kilometers. It faces the sea by mountains, the Jianfeng Mountain in the west, the Taiwan Province Strait in the east and the beautiful Dasong Island across the sea. Together with the neighboring Qingfeng Village, Baisha Village and Guocai Village, it forms the most beautiful coastal fishing village scenery belt in the north of Pingtan Island.
The traditional building area of Baisheng Village accounts for 80% of the total building area of the village and is well preserved. After the village applied for the traditional ancient village in China, the ancient stone buildings in the village were well protected. Now, the villagers regard these stone buildings as treasures.
