Ip Man's Personal Information

Ye Wen (Ye Wen, 1 89310/October1-19721February1), formerly known as Ye Jiwen, formerly known as Ye Yi, was originally from Nanhai, Guangdong. He is a local gentleman who works in St. Stephen's in Hong Kong. Wing Chun is the founder of Wing Chun boxing system after Chen Huashun and Liang Bi.

Ip Man began to teach Cantonese Wing Chun in Hong Kong in 1950s. His disciple Liang Ting spread Wing Chun internationally, and through the worldwide spread of his children, he formed a set of the most authoritative practical training courses of China traditional martial arts "Wing Chun", which is world-renowned and now spreads in the Wing Chun era.
