Introduction of Thousand Buddha Temple

The Thousand Buddha Temple is located in the Nanan District of Chongqing City, Shixi Road, No. 38 Street, because of the Daxiongbao Hall on both sides of the Buddha statues about 8 inches high 1000, so the name of the "Thousand Buddha Temple". Built in the Ming Dynasty during the Jiajing period, is one of the only four remaining monasteries in Chongqing, enshrining the only ten thousand Buddha Hall in Chongqing, clean and solemn.
