How to make aluminum alloy doors and windows waterproof?

First, because the general aluminum doors and windows are concave structures, the top of the window (golden lark doors and windows) must be made into a dripping eagle mouth to prevent the capillary phenomenon of rain.

Second, aluminum alloy doors and windows should be about 300MM away from the window with waterproof coating (asphalt). Before waterproof coating, clean the position to be coated with ash, and then apply lead oil.

Third, the windows should be sealed with waterproof concrete. Please pay attention to adding waterproofing agent, because when ordinary concrete is solidified, the concrete loses water due to water reaction, and the inside is porous, so water will penetrate into the room from the holes, while the concrete with waterproofing agent is dense and will not leak water. (and the foaming agent used in China doesn't know how effective it is. )

Fourth, the joints between window frames and other materials should be sealed with waterproof sealant.

Fifth, all open windows should be covered with flashing boards at the top to prevent rainwater from flowing into the room through upward openings.

Sixth, glass and aluminum alloy frame materials should be filled with sealant, not rubber strips.

Seventh, it is better to design a boss at the bottom of the window, and the face of the boss is located behind the glass surface, so that the water collected from all around will not flow into the room along the windowsill.

Eighth, the glue joint between the windowsill at the bottom of the window and the window should be designed outward rather than upward, and the windowsill must also be designed with an outward slope.

Ninth, if it is a single glass, the condensate diversion hole should be designed at a quarter of the glass at the bottom of the window.

Tenth, pay attention to the second, third and fourth sides of the window.
