Sanyuan cookbook was compiled by Jing Sanyuan, a national culinary master. The following are famous dishes.

Braised elbow, braised eggplant, braised skirt, fried fish slices and braised winter bamboo shoots were rated as famous dishes in China by the State Bureau of Domestic Trade 1999.

Orchid shrimp slices, stewed fish, red rock frog soup, crab-yellow chicken with diced cabbage, wide belly in chicken sauce and shark's fin with cabbage were rated as famous dishes in China in 2003 by China Cuisine Association.

Snack chess piece sesame seed cake, 1997 was recognized as "the first snack in China" by China Cuisine Association.

Because recipes are rarely made public, the names of other dishes are unknown.
