The Relationship between Iconology and Communication, Origin and Communication

Image and communication, origin and media are different fields in literary research, and there is a certain relationship between them.

Imageology mainly studies foreign images in literature and discusses how writers and readers shape and understand foreign images. To some extent, it is related to communication, origin and media, but there are also differences.

Circulation mainly studies the circulation process and law of literary works, and discusses the spread and evolution of works in different time and space backgrounds. Although it also involves the spread and acceptance of literary works in different cultures, its main concern is the spread process and law of works, not the foreign image itself.

Origin mainly studies the origin and influence of literary works, and discusses the relationship between works and authors, society and culture. Although Genesis also involves the spread and influence of works in different cultures, it focuses more on the creation and influence of works in a specific time and space background than on foreign images.

Media studies mainly study the media and ways of literary works and explore how works are accepted and understood through different media and ways. Although media science also involves the spread of literary works between different cultures, it mainly focuses on the media itself, not foreign images.

Therefore, iconology has some relations with popular science, origin science and media science, but their research focuses are not exactly the same. Imageology mainly focuses on foreign images in literature, while folklore, origin and media studies pay more attention to the spread, evolution and acceptance of literary works in different time and space and cultural backgrounds.
