Origin:
Yangko has a history of thousands of years in China, reaching its peak in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The origin of "yangko" is a saying among the Han people: in the process of agricultural labor such as transplanting and pulling out seedlings, in order to alleviate the pain of facing the loess and facing the sky, yangko was gradually formed by singing;
Another folklore is that "Yangko" originated from the flood fighting. In order to survive, people along the ancient Yellow River struggled to fight floods. Finally, they won. Everyone happily picked up flood fighting tools as props, singing and dancing, expressing their happy mood. With the increase of participants, yangko gradually formed a dance movement and dance combination.
