How to knit a hand-knitted sweater from top to bottom

Hand-knitted sweaters are knitted from top to bottom as follows:

1, starting from the collar. Take needle 128 as an example, which is easy to explain. You can choose the height and style of the collar for the double thread under two stitches and on two stitches. When the height of the collar is enough, the body part will be knitted.

2. Subtract 8 stitches from128 stitches, that is, 120 stitches, and divide them into three equal parts, each with 40 stitches, one for the front, one for the back and one for 1/2 for the two sleeves, with 20 stitches each. Each part is divided into two stitches, and the four braids are exactly eight stitches, making a total of 128 stitches.

3. Body parts. Start knitting the body parts in circles, and add a stitch every two rows on both sides of the four braids. In order to add needles conveniently, you can mark the place where needles are added. My method is to attach a paper clip. The pattern of the predecessor can be chosen by himself. I'm lazy, so I twist a few braids to distinguish the front from the back of the child.

Pay attention to adding needles when knitting, so there will be four obvious oblique braids. Braids should be braided to 19CM (daughter's sweater, height 160CM), and adults should lengthen it appropriately. My sweater (height 170CM) is usually knitted to 2 1CM.

4. Stay in the collar. The number of stitches in the back piece is woven about one inch separately, so that the back piece is higher than the front piece, which is equivalent to leaving a collar nest. The number of minute hand sets is reserved separately. When combining the front and back pieces, add about 10 stitches between the front and back pieces, and the number of stitches can be adjusted according to the size.

5. In this way, you can start to knit the body and sleeves separately, and it is best to knit the body first. The part of the body is woven long enough, and then the elastic edge is knitted to close the needle. When knitting sleeves, pick up the extra 10 stitches and knit them together. At first, reduce two stitches every three rows, subtract the number of stitches added, and then reduce two stitches every five or six rows until it is long enough.
