Can China Kung Fu really not be used in actual combat?

Tai Ji Chuan's fighting style.

Guided by the theory of Taiji Yin and Yang (the essence of which is the unity of opposites), Taijiquan martial arts takes the meaning of Laozi's "whether there is mutual learning or not" and "doing nothing without doing anything". Military strategists say that "know yourself and know yourself, and fight in a hundred battles", abandoning the traditional fighting mode of "bullying the weak, slowing down and letting go quickly"-relying solely on speed and strength to win, and replacing it with a brand-new technological revolution: failed introduction. In the historical period when cold weapons dominated, a precedent of "defeating the strong with weakness and defeating the strong with softness" was created in actual combat (quoted from Tao Te Ching).

Boxing is the art of fighting. However, for a long time, especially in recent decades, the development of Tai Ji Chuan has taken a road of generalizing the whole: it emphasizes looseness, softness and slowness, and it is strict, rigid and fast; Pay attention to the effect of dance and downplay the internal practice of kung fu; Advocate physical fitness and oppose attacking people with force ... The main body of practice is middle-aged and elderly people and sick people, and the majority of teenagers disdain it. A series of mistakes lead most people to think that Tai Ji Chuan is a medical exercise, a fitness exercise and a performing art, which cannot be used in actual combat.

In the cold weapon era, Tai Ji Chuan's master was known as Yang Huaxia for his unparalleled martial arts, which laid a solid foundation for the existence and development of Tai Ji Chuan. Human history has entered the era of scientific and technological civilization. Under the new situation and new concept, whether Tai Ji Chuan can be popularized and developed along the right road, clarify the understanding that "Tai Ji Chuan can't fight", find out the crux that Tai Ji Chuan's practice method is not conducive to actual combat, and explore a feasible way to fight in Tai Ji Chuan is a subject that contemporary Tai Ji Chuan people must face.

1 Fighting skill is the condition for the survival and development of Tai Ji Chuan.

The essence of boxing is fighting skill. Taiji gives boxing a name, and it must strive for perfection in fighting skills.

1852 Wang Zongyue's Boxing Theory was discovered in Yandian, Wuyang, Henan Province. The full text is 365 words, and the boxing theory is explained by combining Tai Chi Yin and Yang theory with fighting techniques. The meaning is clear, novel, concise and magnificent!

Mr. Zong Yue believes that winning by strength and speed and fighting back by brute force will inevitably lead to "bullying the weak and fearing the hard, and slowly giving way to the ears." This kind of "strong and weak, slow hand out of Aauto Quicker, are all innate talents, which have nothing to do with academic ability and have a future." ...

Mr. Zong Yue believes that the secret of "invincible heroes" is unpredictable (yin and yang), "flickering" and "people don't know me, I know people alone"; It lies in the sensitive perception that "a hair can't be added and a fly can't fall". It is imperative to slow down and "stretch with the music". By "walking and sticking" to follow the trend, it is easy to achieve "I am behind others" ...

Mr. Zong Yue believes that "four or two thousand pounds can conquer the masses", and the key lies in "gradually understanding power from maturity and understanding gods from cognitive power." What is knowledge? Mr. Zong Yue wrote: "Yang does not leave Yin, Yin does not leave Yang, and the combination of Yin and Yang can realize the strength. After understanding the strength, the more you practice, the more refined you will get. "

As soon as Wang Zongyue's boxing theory came out, the four fists were named "Tai Chi". As Mr. Yu Zhijun said, "Tai Ji Chuan is a kind of boxing displayed under the provisions of Wang Zongyue's On Tai Ji Chuan (quoted from the History of Traditional Wushu in China on page 288)." From 65438 to 050, all factions of Tai Ji Chuan joined hands with Wang Zongyue to name their boxing theory "On Tai Ji Chuan" or "Tai Ji Chuan Classic", which received rave reviews. Tai Ji Chuan's published monographs are mostly supplemented by Wang's original works, which are listed as the first of Tai Ji Chuan's classics. Wang Zongyue thus established his position in the history of Tai Ji Chuan, and was honored as a giant and saint of Tai Ji Chuan, with unquestionable authority.

Theory comes from practice and guides and serves practice. What was early Tai Ji Chuan like under the guidance of Wang Zongyue's On Tai Ji Chuan?

The recognized early (Tai Ji Chuan) boxer in boxing is Chen Changxing. We don't know about Chen Changxing's boxing, except that his favorite disciple is Yang Luchan in Yongnian, Hebei. "Who expected Chen Jiaji in northern Henan, but relied on Yang Chuan in southern Hebei", so it can be said that Yang Lvchan is the shadow of Chen Changxing, and Yang Lvchan's boxing is the reappearance of Chen Changxing's boxing. Yang Luchan's Tai Ji Chuan skills are well documented-

Weng Tonghe, a great scholar in Qing Dynasty and a teacher of Tongzhi Emperor, once witnessed Yang Luchan's ability to fight with others. Weng Tonghe said, "Yang advances and retreats quickly, and the actual situation is unpredictable. He is an ape player and his garden is extremely muddy." Weng Tonghe was a calligrapher in the late Qing Dynasty. His calligraphy couplets were given to Yang Luchan: "Holding Tai Chi, shaking the world, and beating the crowd with stunts."

According to Yongnian, Yang Lu returned to Li's side after his meditation and learned martial arts from his peers every day. His boxing skills are exquisite. Neighbors see that his boxing is soft but not fierce, so they call it "Mianquan" in the play. Those who are good at sticking to people are also called "Sticky Boxing". ...

Yang Luchan taught boxing in Beijing, and many people who refused to accept it came to compete, all of them were defeated, so they were called "invincible Yang". Lu Chan, the son of the class, was famous for his martial arts in his twenties. Also known as "Yang invincible", he served as a martial arts teacher in Qingqi Camp. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty awarded Wu Qisi an order to reward Lan Ling's official position.

The above historical data prove that in the early period (Yang Luchan era), Tai Ji Chuan walked softly and gracefully, and moved forward and backward quickly. It is important to be close to people and make good use of gardening to control people, so it can "shake the earth" and "overwhelm the crowd", which is an excellent fighting fist with great characteristics and lethality. Imagine: If Chen Changxing and Yang Luchan's Tai Ji Chuan were similar to Tai Ji Chuan, an old man popular in parks today, I'm afraid there wouldn't be Tai Ji Chuan as we speak today. ...

When Wang Zongyue was born, the academic circles debated endlessly. Most people think that he is from the Qing Dynasty. At that time, China society was in the late period of the heyday of feudal society. Although firearms appeared, the battle was dominated by cold weapons. In the era of Chen Changxing and Yang Luchan, China was in the late feudal society. Although the western industrial revolution was in the ascendant, the decadent Qing dynasty still opened its doors to scholars, holding spears and bows and arrows. This is the historical background of the birth of Wang Zongyue's boxing theory and the practice of Yang Luchan and Tai Ji Chuan. Therefore, it is inevitable for Wang Zongyue to expound the boxing theory with fighting techniques. In the early days (Chen Changxing and Yang Luchan), it was also the necessity of the times that Tai Ji Chuan sought survival and development by fighting skills.

Tai Ji Chuan's theory and practice are inextricably linked with fighting techniques from the beginning. Without martial arts and poor martial arts, Tai Ji Chuan would have lost its living conditions. In those days, there would be no Tai Ji Chuan, let alone the popularization and development of Tai Ji Chuan today. ...

Some people emphasize Tai Ji Chuan's fitness function and deny and downplay Tai Ji Chuan's offensive and defensive function on the grounds of the words in Tai Ji Chuan Spectrum, which is not in line with historical reality. Wang Zongyue, who can write On Taiji Biography, is an intellectual with high IQ. He knew that in the feudal society which valued literature over martial arts, paying attention to health and fitness while speaking boxing could better satisfy the rulers' hope of prolonging life, arouse the general concern of society, and strive for a general environment suitable for Tai Ji Chuan's survival and development. Of course, this kind of rhetoric reflects Wang Zongyue's extraordinary wisdom and foresight when the era of firearms is coming and the role of boxing fighting on the battlefield is weakening day by day.

The crux of Tai Ji Chuan today is that it is not conducive to actual combat.

Tai Ji Chuan's martial arts training method is called pushing hands.

Pushing hands are also called thugs, rubbing hands, leaning on hands, etc. , is not a patent of Tai Ji Chuan, there are many kinds of boxing. It is a means of practicing close contact with (recruiting) legitimate enemies. Compared with other boxing pushers, Taijiquan pushers are unique in that they overlap with people's arms. Through the contact of limbs, they use the method of "sticking without breaking their heads" to practice the sensitivity of whole body skin touch and internal reflection in mutual restraint, and experience and taste what the ancients called "the theory of yin and yang resisting, the wonderful change of combining rigidity with softness", thus obtaining a kind of kung fu called "enlightenment".

What are "strength" and "knowledge"? My book "Power-Understanding Power and Its Mathematical Formula" was published in the seventh issue of Wu Soul magazine in 2006, so I won't go into details. In a word, knowledge is a compulsory course for Tai Ji Chuan's martial arts, and it is the only standard to measure Tai Ji Chuan's martial arts. "Jin" is the skill of Zhao method, which comes from Tai Ji Chuan's boxing practice; The understanding that "understanding" is the application of (trick) is mainly derived from Tai Ji Chuan's training of pushing hands. Therefore, knowledge itself is kung fu, the higher the knowledge, the deeper the kung fu, and the ultimate knowledge is the "God" and "Do whatever you want" in boxing theory; Therefore, Tai Ji Chuan regards knowledge as the key to boxing ... Those who learn from Tai Ji Chuan and don't learn to push hands are equal to not learning. It's useless to learn to push hands, but you don't understand them. "

Mr. Hao Shaoru once said: "Tai Ji Chuan is the most labor-saving art of hitting people ... The most essential feature of Tai Ji Chuan art is" punching people ". Foolishly think that the premise of saving effort and helping others is profound knowledge. Only with profound knowledge can we achieve the theoretical requirements of boxing, such as "people don't know me, I know people alone", "abandoning people", "showing the magic because of the enemy's change" and "leading out of defeat", "following the melody" and "I will follow when people are soft".

The author thinks that the biggest crux that Tai Ji Chuan is not conducive to actual combat today lies in the fact that most fighters and pushers are ignorant or have a little knowledge of kung fu, so they can't save energy and help others fight in actual combat. Instead, we can't help but start from natural habits, confront each other by pushing cows and pulling them, and finally win by strength. This brute force under the banner of Tai Ji Chuan is more technical and deviates from the basic principles of Tai Ji Chuan. It's not Tai Ji Chuan at all, much less Tai Ji Chuan's fighting skill.

Fighting, as its name implies, is to show all kinds of skills and skills of limbs, protect yourself and attack your opponents. It has the characteristics of flexibility, diversity and randomness, and there is no fixed model. However, Tai Ji Chuan's pushing hand training in fighting techniques always follows the rules, and it is carried out after his arms mechanically form a "Tai Chi map", which is called civilized and polite, but in fact it is dull and stagnant; This is called static braking, and the latecomers come first. In fact, it is waiting for the rabbit and waiting for the beating-this training mode cannot be adhered to by fast, accurate and fast soldiers. If you can't get started, you can't learn. Tai Ji Chuan has both advantages and disadvantages. It's really a way to die by doing nothing. Therefore, the lack of training for the doorman to take over is another big sticking point that Tai Ji Chuan is not conducive to actual combat.

Some people think that his fist is as fast as lightning, and he pays attention to "no fighting, no fighting, only one punch", so Tai Chi Chuan, which is soft in the middle and firm in the middle, is out of reach. Don't! Silly thought that no matter what boxing, if you want to hit someone, you must have a contact point! He can hit you, touch you, you naturally touch him, you should stick to him. "Urgent is emergency, slow is slow", which is clearly stated in boxing theory. Therefore, if you can't get started and stick to it, you can only blame Tai Chi Chuan for taking over the sticky kung fu and not practicing at home.

"Fight or not" depends on each other's kung fu. The skills of the two sides are very different, so they can "don't recruit or fight" and win (recruit) to end the battle; It is nonsense to say that the opposing sides are equal or almost the same in skills, and "fight or fight".

Some people say that Tai Ji Chuan has reached the depth of his internal skill, and he "covers it up", while others say "Don't recruit or fight, just take a look", but the author doesn't think so. As Mr. Hao Shaoru said in "The Secret Recipe of Covering and Swallowing Four Characters", "The four characters are wonderful ... you can't get them unless you are knowledgeable and extremely refined", which is very insightful. You can't learn Kung Fu without persistence, and you can't take advantage of others. You can only use "don't recruit, don't fight, just do it" to stop people, just like western boxing, not China's Tai Ji Chuan.

At present, Tai Ji Chuan's pushers pay more attention to the dead step than the live step, only pushing and not hitting, which is also a serious problem that is not conducive to actual combat.

I have seen many videos of pushing hands on the Internet, most of which are motionless pushing hands, and some are simple in footwork, only pushing but not hitting. Wandering around at will, flying around with all one's strength, twisting, drilling, falling, and hitting at the same time, it is called Tai Chi Sanshou (hitting), which has not been seen so far (author's press: it may be that the door is secret and difficult to show people; May also be guangling scattered, long lost). Therefore, it is difficult to fight against other boxing methods, such as jumping, avoiding reality and playing virtual, as fast as lightning, and paying attention to the strength of the blow.

In the early years of the Republic of China, everyone in Tai Ji Chuan contributed a lot to pushing hands. It is reported that Yang Chengfu perfected and developed the four-corner push on the basis of the four positive strokes, thus forming the famous Yang's big stroke; Xu Yusheng introduced the single hand and the open-close hand into the push-hand operation, "to supplement the deficiency of the original four methods"; Song Shuming introduced the gossip footwork into the walking pusher, which is called Tai Chi grinding (driving), also known as rotating Kun; Sun Lutang must follow the advance, retreat, and open and close harmoniously, especially suitable for rushing; Yang Shaohou walks around at will, goes with the flow, and drills around ... The best stunts of Taiji Chuan are all poured out by the predecessors with their lifelong efforts. I don't believe in the huge China, and no one will practice and use it again!

Re-pushing skills and light boxing routines; It is also the crux of Tai Ji Chuan's unfavorable fighting that he only relies on all his strength without the backing of kung fu.

Mr. Yang Chengfu said: "Pure Tai Chi, its arms are like cotton wrapped in iron. When you hug someone, your hands are so light that people can't get through. When released, it's like taking off a projectile, which is fast and labor-saving. Those who were thrown out, but feel no movement, feel no pain, have fallen out of Zhang Yu. When it sticks to people, it won't catch them. A gentle glue, like glue, can't be taken off, making people sour and numb. " This real Tai Chi Kung Fu is foolishly based on boxing! Taijiquan is easy and gentle, with boxing as the stake, which means that the spirit is strong to a certain extent, practicing enlightenment, being able to "seek softness, be unwilling to be rigid", "seek looseness, be unwilling to be tight" and "seek looseness, be unwilling to be quick", so that there is yang in the yin, yin in the yang, yin and yang are combined, opening and closing are orderly, and the truth and falsehood are clear, and both rigidity and flexibility are combined. Then continue to unify the body with the body, enrich the pusher with the boxing frame, and verify the boxing frame with the pusher, so as to know yourself and yourself. When you are extremely knowledgeable, you can "tai chi doesn't work, but move the law", but you can't show it, "you should". Use it lightly in battle, and the enemy feels extremely heavy; It is very soft, and the enemy feels very rigid; The use is very loose, and the enemy feels tight; If you are anxious, you must slow down. The enemy feels as fast as electricity and can't grasp the pattern. Rest assured, it is difficult for the enemy to take it off, and the pain of persistence can't be controlled ... Some people despise denying boxing routines and think that kung fu is not in boxing, which is a big mistake! Mr. Chen Weiming, a famous scholar, studied form, meaning, gossip and Tai Chi under Sun Lutang and Yang Chengfu. He said: "Mr. Shao Hou said that when Mr. Lu Chan practiced a single whip, he put a dollar on the ground and lifted it with his mouth, so he could lift it on people's knees ... Anyone who despised the shelf did not get the rules and essence of the shelf. Shelves are the most important foundation. Long-term practice, the body can be as heavy as Mount Tai and as light as a feather. Tai Ji Chuan's famous artists are all working hard on boxing, which goes without saying.

"If you don't practice boxing, you will be old." Without the backing of skills, taking advantage of the situation to fight (skills) is empty talk, which can prove that the boxing proverb "don't fight, don't bully" is indeed a wise saying.

The above lists four sticking points that Tai Ji Chuan is not conducive to actual combat. As for the shortage of teachers and professionals who are proficient in Tai Ji Chuan's fighting skills, scientific and modern Tai Ji Chuan's actual combat theory and training system have not yet formed, and those who practice Tai Ji Chuan are older. These are beyond the scope of my thesis, so I won't comment.

3 Tai Chi Chuan's fighting style.

65438-0958 The author studied boxing under Mr. Zhang Huchen (1898— 1979) in Tongzhou. When talking about the actual combat of Taijiquan Sanshou, Teacher Wang said with a smile: "In the Cold War, life was a struggle, and life changed rapidly. You can win or lose in an instant. Then you can have fixed rules to follow. If you learn to push the hand to fight again, the food will be cold long ago ... You must use the door opener to deal with the enemy, and wait for an opportunity to take over and stick to it in the interspersed walk. Only by applying knowledgeable skills, listening, listening and doing it in one go can it be effective. " Excuse me, what is the door opener of Taiji Chuan? Answer: "Waving pipa and gesturing."

In actual combat in Tai Ji Chuan, most people who open doors wave the pipa (or raise their hands, the same below). As Jin said in "wudang boxing's Secret": "Before and after parting your feet, the two strands are tightly clamped, and you can turn around at will. Elbows are attached to both sides, so that your hair can be hit outside, and you can clap at three o'clock (referring to the tip of your nose, the tip of your hand and your toes) and make your feet at three o'clock. All boxers often use this trend as a door opener in actual combat, and so does western boxing, except that Tai Ji Chuan's trend is called playing the pipa, and his boxing has been given different names.

In actual combat, Taiji Chuan used the pipa as a door opener. The reason is that this situation is flexible and changeable. All the potentials in Tai Ji Chuan can be instantly synthesized through this situation, such as the horizontal hand, the cloud hand, the elbow hand, the knee-hugging hand, the monkey-kicking hand, the sitting hand, the diving hand and the bright-winged hand.

There is a heroic and cautious saying in Wulin that "if you advance, you will live; if you retreat, you will die". Tai Ji Chuan pays more attention to "grabbing the hind foot with the front foot and guarding the platform with the rear foot" and "beating people like kissing, holding hands to the body". Most of his fists advance and retreat quickly, and he is used to hitting people with his legs. The disadvantage is that the attack and defense are clear, and you can't hit it. It takes a lot of effort to retract your legs and change your fists before hitting. Taiji Chuan is good at understanding strength, which makes the enemy become "unintentional and intentional, but can't do whatever it takes". The disadvantage is that he must stick to the enemy, otherwise he will lose both strength and strength, and he will take advantage of the enemy. Tai Chi Chuan waved the pipa and opened the door. "Hands start from the side of the leg and gently move to the side." Spin dry, turn Kun around with the enemy, Yang Chang avoids short and expensive, and is trapped in close range. If you can persist, you can give full play to your knowledge and skills and stick to the enemy. The enemy's shortcomings exist. If you can't get up your legs and get out of your body, you will stay in Tai Chi and wait for my command.

Tai Chi Chuan waved the pipa to open the gate, and his hands were locked and deadlocked with the enemy. His forehand should be loose, soft outside and rigid inside to prevent the enemy from picking and hitting, and his back hand should tightly protect his front elbow and chest and waist to prevent the enemy from raiding.

Tai Chi passes the pipa and opens the door. When the enemy hits me, my previous hand (draw an arc to unload its power) picks it up quickly (take over without relay) so that you can stick to the enemy's arm or other parts; If the enemy is too fast to catch (stick), the pipa player can change his fist posture or pattern at will or stop him from following the enemy and wait for an opportunity to catch (stick); If the enemy doesn't strike, jumps away or falls away from the position, I will still return to the position of pipa and fight with the enemy to change the situation and wait and see. This is what Tai Chi's method of entering the circle says: "If it is difficult to retreat, it will be difficult to study it carefully. This is not standing still, but leaning forward and backward, shoulder to shoulder. " ...

Tai Chi Chuan waved the pipa to open the gate, and his hands were locked and deadlocked with the enemy. His forehand confused his strength with the enemy's response with a shed hand, so he had the saying that "shed is the first of the eight laws" and "never give in when encountering shed" If the enemy attacks me from the front, use the shed hand or shed to pick up the stick as appropriate; If the enemy punches from the left and right sides, as appropriate, choose the bristle hand and the oblique flying hand to take over and stick; If the enemy strikes from behind, the returning hand and the shuttle hand will take over and stick to it as appropriate; If the enemy is in the command position and punches heavily, as the case may be, first unload its force with the lower hand and then stick it with the seven-star hand; If the enemy attacks continuously with both hands and feet, use the cloud hand to stick as appropriate ... In short, it is not necessary to stick to one mode when taking over sticking, and the beauty of operation lies in the convenience of sticking. To take over, we must be bold and cautious, enter quickly, stick to the enemy, and not close to the enemy's legs, so I took the lead; Afraid that the enemy won't touch (stick), he will lose all his strength. If the enemy takes the lead, he will lose. ...

Tai Ji Chuan shook hands with the enemy by waving the pipa. Once those who are proficient in kung fu meet (stick to) the enemy, the enemy can't escape. The endless change of the word "Shun" is enough to make him fall into the fog and feel at a loss: the enemy retreats and I drift with the tide, and "chasing the wind and chasing the moon" is at the same speed; When the enemy advances, we follow the trend and "lead cattle into the fence" at the same speed; When the enemy kicks, I follow the trend that the leg will raise my body back and step into my heel at the same speed. When the enemy squatted down to attack my tibia, I squatted down at the same speed and put my hands under my feet; The enemy fled sideways, and I drifted with the tide, and my left and right hands beat their roots at the same speed; The enemy and we are very close (sticky), and my wrists are constrained by each other, so I can't move them manually. I will elbow it in the direction of weightlessness, carry it with my shoulders, twist my waist and hit it with my hips; If the enemy is defeated (out) but not "fatal", I will follow the defeated (fleeing) direction and pursue at the same speed. The so-called "if not far away, the backhand will make up for the sudden wind" until the enemy completely loses its resistance (the author presses: The "synchronous constant speed" mentioned here refers to the same speed, the same time and the same direction as the opponent's strength. Only when the speed is constant can we "get the upper hand" and "follow the trend" ... In short, while sticking to the enemy's body, we can listen to it, "make use of others to make the spine angry", wriggle around, kick around, breathe and accumulate strength, and catch up with it.

Sun Tzu said, "A good fighter can harm others, but not himself." In actual combat, Tai Ji Chuan must assess the situation, decisively attack it unprepared, attack its key points and attack its weaknesses, and never cling to the dogma of "static braking". If the enemy doesn't move, I will lure him to move and force him to move. When the enemy is in a dynamic situation, only by "letting him go and never letting him go" can we give full play to his potential and strength, that is, "using his Tao to control his merits". Taiji Chuan lures and persecutes the enemy by waving the pipa, and often spits letters and slaps (slaps) the enemy's eyes, throat and face. "Iron fans blow their faces against the wind, eager for quick success and instant benefit", and the enemy will move (arm) to block, so I will touch (stick) the enemy's arm (hand) conveniently. At this time, "the enemy is advancing, and has already moved first" and "if the import fails, it will come out", and I will have a chance. ...

To sum up, actual combat is different from pushing hands and pushing hands is also different from actual combat. There are differences and connections between the two.

Pushing hands is the main means to acquire fighting skills, and it is the skill training of fighting in actual combat; Actual combat is the purpose of fighting skill training, and it is the improvisation and application of pushers. Pushing hands is more delicate than actual combat, and technical changes are complicated; Actual combat is rougher and simpler than pushing hands, and it is extremely difficult to play. For beginners, the speed of pushing hands should be slow rather than fast. "Chew slowly" has high resolution and is easy to master. Practice to a certain extent can be fast or slow. Boxing theory says "hurry is fast, slow is slow", that is, it can be as slow as ten points or as fast as ten points. The advantage of actual combat is to make a quick decision, pursue immediate results without hesitation, and need to synchronize with the opponent at the same speed, fast but not slow ...

Push hands to enrich actual combat skills and test actual combat level. The higher the skill of pushing hands, the higher the probability of winning in actual combat, which is in direct proportion.

Boxing, pushing hands, understanding and actual combat, the methods and purposes of which have their own emphases and characteristics, are all essential links in Tai Ji Chuan's boxing. Among them, boxing routine is the foundation, pushing hands is the training means, understanding strength is the core and leading, and actual combat is the test of practice. I think that only by correctly handling the relationship between boxing, pushing, enlightenment and actual combat, and making it perfect and harmonious, can we explore a way of actual combat in Tai Ji Chuan.
