Introduction of Yunnan Ethnic Museum

Yunnan Museum of Ethnic Minorities is adjacent to Yunnan Ethnic Village by Dianchi Pond, about 9 kilometers away from downtown Kunming. This is the most concentrated collection of the history and culture of Yunnan's various ethnic minorities in the display place, but also the largest ethnic museum in Southeast Asia. There are more than 10,000 exhibits on display here, divided into "Social Formation of Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups - Reform and Development", "Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups Ecological Industry", "Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups Textile Crafts and Clothing Art", "Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups Folk Art", "Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups Festivals and Dances", "Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups Handicrafts", "Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups Old Books and Documents", and "Yunnan Minority Ethnic Groups Folk Art". Yunnan Minority Ethnic Minority Ancient Books and Documents" and "Curious Stones and Treasures" and other 8 topics are displayed in 16 exhibition halls, which have high academic research value and ornamental value.
