Introduction:
Hyogo Prefectural University was established in 2004 by the merger of three universities, namely, the Kobe University of Commerce, Himeji University of Technology, and Hyogo Prefectural Nursing University. Its three predecessor schools were well known in the Kansai region, and therefore Hyogo Prefectural University enjoys the reputation of being one of the largest prefectural universities in the 43 prefectures of Japan. Hyogo Prefectural University is the largest among the 43 prefectural universities in Japan, with a long history. The university is characterized by a long history and is the largest among the 43 prefectures in Japan.

The Graduate School consists of the Graduate School of Science, the Graduate School of Engineering, the Graduate School of Economics, the Graduate School of Business, the Graduate School of Environmental Studies and the Graduate School of Nursing, the Graduate School of Computer Science, the Graduate School of Accounting, the Graduate School of Landscape Architecture, and the Graduate School of MBA.
Characteristics:
Hyogo Prefectural University aims to cultivate economic personnel with both theoretical and practical skills, good judgment, and the ability to contribute to industrial society. Our educational methodology is based on consolidating the student's academic foundation, while at the same time giving free rein to the student's own initiative and motivating the student to learn, thus achieving twice the result with half the effort. There are two departments under the Faculty of Economics, the Department of International Economics and the Department of Applied Economics, as well as a Graduate School of Economics program.
