Where is Yangshan Tomb Group

Yangshan Tomb Cluster is a cultural relics protection unit in Shandong Province.

Yangshan Han Tomb Cluster is one of the larger Han Dynasty tomb clusters found in Shandong Province so far. In addition to the ten consecutive large-scale tombs found on the north side of the mountain, most of them are small single-stone chamber and double-stone chamber tombs, and most of the tombs are relatively centralized, one or two meters near and three or five meters far away, buried in front of the mountain and behind the mountain.

Yangshan Han Tomb Group is famous for the excavation of Han Dynasty painted pottery, especially the excavated pottery figurines, pottery horse modeling detailed, realistic atmosphere, artistry, fully reflects the level of development of productive forces in the Han Dynasty in Yangshan.

The Western Han Dynasty Nipple-patterned Rule Mirror, unearthed in the 1980s in the Yangshan Han Tomb Complex, has a diameter of 14 centimeters, a thickness of 0.72 centimeters, and weighs 439.2 grams. There is a chevron pattern outside the semi-circular knob base in the middle of the back of the mirror, and there is a 12-character inscription (which is rusted and unclear) inside the chevron pattern. Square outside the four sides of the center, decorated with nipple pattern, each nipple around each grass leaf-shaped pattern, are to the outside of a pair of leaf flowers, is a typical Western Han Dynasty nipple, grass leaf pattern copper mirror. The mirror not only contains rich historical and cultural information, but also has a very high value of arts and crafts. Its patterns and decorations, inscriptions, production techniques, artistic style, all reflect and embody the majestic atmosphere of this period of the times and the profound artistic techniques, for the study of China's Han Dynasty copper mirror culture has an important reference value. By the expert appraisal of Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee, the bronze mirror for the national third-class cultural relics. Now stored in Jinxiang County Museum.

On March 11, 2001, Yangshan Han Tomb Cluster was announced by the People's Government of Jining City as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit. 2013, Yangshan Tomb Cluster was announced by the People's Government of Shandong Province as the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural relics protection units in Shandong Province.

Yangshan Town: Yangshan Town is located in the hinterland of southwestern Shandong Province, northwest of Jinxiang County, the hometown of garlic in China, at the junction of the cities of Jining and Heze and the three counties of Jinxiang, Jiaxiang, and Juno, with an area of 76.8 square kilometers (116014" east diameter, 35010 north latitude "). Convenient transportation in the town, the river network is dense, the South Xie line crosses the east and west, Yang Ma Road through the territory, 9.1 kilometers from the 105 National Highway in the east, the Wanfu River in the south, 15 kilometers from the Jining Airport.
