Project history
Cross-country skiing originated in northern Europe, so it is also called Nordic skiing. According to records, during the Norwegian Civil War from 65438 to 0226, two scouts, known as "Birch Legs", took two-year-old King Haakon Ⅳ Haakonsson and skied over the mountains to get rid of the enemy. Now Norway holds a cross-country marathon skiing competition every year, with a distance of 35 miles, just like the boy scouts in the past.
Cross-country skiing is divided into uphill, downhill and flat, each of which accounts for 1/3 of the whole skiing. From the beginning, as a hunting method and means of transportation, it gradually became a method of physical exercise and eventually became a sports event, during which it experienced a long process of development and evolution.
