What is the taste of authentic Dongpo meat?

Authentic Dongpo meat tastes fragrant, fat but not greasy, with a bouquet of wine, bright red color, strong juice and alcohol, crisp but not broken, and very delicious. The specific practice is as follows.

Ingredients: 500g pork belly, 5 slices of ginger, scallion 1 root, 2 shallots, star anise 1 root.

Accessories:

1 tablespoon soy sauce, 4 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 pieces of rock sugar, 100ml carved wine.

Practice steps

1. Put water and pork belly in the pot, and take out the pork belly and wash it immediately after the water boils.

2. Put the green onions, ginger and star anise into the casserole.

3. Cut the pork belly into 4cm cubes, add the shallots and put them neatly in the casserole.

4. Add soy sauce, soy sauce, 50ml of carved wine and 2 pieces of rock sugar in turn, and drown the pork belly with water.

5. Cover the lid and bring to a boil, then simmer for 40 minutes, turn the pork belly over, cook the remaining 50 ml of carved flowers, and finally simmer for 20 minutes.
