Why is Zhu Sheng noodles called Zhu Sheng noodles?
Zhu Sheng noodles are called Zhu Sheng noodles because Zhu Sheng noodles use bamboo as the original tool, so they should be called "bamboo noodles". However, because "extreme" and "healthy" in Cantonese are homophonic, it is called "Zhu Sheng noodles" instead of "pork liver noodles" in order not to be healthy. As early as the Republic of China, Zhu Sheng noodles were popular in Xiguan area of Guangzhou. In 1950s and 1960s, a bowl of Zhu Sheng noodles was once a delicacy of Guangzhou people. The production of bamboo noodles is exquisite, especially in tools and production technology: a bamboo pole and a human bomb. People sit at the other end of the bamboo pole, transforming the human bounce into crisp teeth. A group of successful bamboo noodles have to go through the "hard work" of buttocks and bamboo poles to make today's bamboo noodles play cool. The surface of the bamboo pole becomes hard and tough, and can be cooked in the pot after being processed into thin strips.
