What is the difference between the "Great Compassion Mantra" sung by Kwong Mei Wan and Qi Yu?
There are two kinds of Great Compassion Mantra, one is the traditional eighty-four sentence "Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes Vastly Comprehensive and Unhindered Great Compassion Dharani", and the other one is the "Eleven-Faced Guanyin Mantra", which is the Tibetan Great Compassion Mantra. Originally, the Eleven-Faced Guanyin Mantra was also popular in the Han Dynasty, but it was gradually replaced by the Eighty-Four Sentences Great Compassion Mantra.
