Modern Forestry Afforestation Methods and Afforestation Production Management Measures

Lead: In the development of modern society, the implementation of forestry afforestation methods and production management measures is closely related to the future development of the whole forestry unit and the overall prospect of afforestation in China.

1 Introduction

China has a vast area of forestry resources, but the long-term development model of extensive economic has led to a sharp decrease in the area of forestry resources. The effective way to solve this problem is to fully develop and rationally allocate forestry resources, which will be conducive to the orderly development of related management work, thus promoting the further development and research of modern forestry afforestation methods, and finally realizing the rational allocation and healthy and sustainable development of forestry resources.

2 modern forestry afforestation methods

2. 1 clonal afforestation method

The method is suitable for small-area forest land planting, and the implementation process is as follows: 40-60m2 holes are evenly dug in the afforestation area to ensure that the hole bottom is flat; Ensure that the seedlings are straight and horizontal when planting; Reasonable arrangement of seedling planting depth, strengthen the water absorption capacity of seedling root system. Using this afforestation method, the survival rate of tree seedlings is often high, and there is no need to have too high requirements for forestry, but it takes a lot of time and energy, which is not conducive to the improvement of afforestation benefits.

2.2 Planting seedling afforestation method

The so-called seedling planting afforestation method is to dig a hole after the local land preparation is completed, and then transplant the seedlings into the hole. When using this afforestation method, it should be noted that the dug holes need to fully accommodate the main roots of seedlings to ensure the growth quality after transplantation. After transplanting seedlings, in order to avoid the subsidence of surrounding soil, the buried depth of soil should be strictly controlled during transplanting, which is usually required to exceed the height of the original soil mark on the root neck of seedlings, about 2 ~ 4 cm. In general, if it is transplanted to a humid climate zone, it is necessary to plant it shallowly, and if it is transplanted to a dry climate zone, it is necessary to plant it deeply.

2.3 Sowing afforestation method

This method is to plant seeds directly in forest land and grow naturally, which is suitable for large-scale forestry afforestation projects. When sowing for afforestation, special attention should be paid to the high requirements for forest land conditions, and the management and tending of young forests are strict in the later stage of afforestation. Therefore, the planted tree species must have strong germination ability and adaptability. Such vegetation includes walnuts, apricot trees and oak trees. Using this method, we need to pay attention to the strict selection of plots, maintain the water content of soil, and avoid the adverse effects caused by external objective factors.

3 silviculture production management measures

3. 1 Strengthen management and reduce costs.

(1) Reduce afforestation investment. By properly reducing the input of afforestation unit area and individual plant, the actual yield of seedlings can be effectively improved, the seedling cultivation time can be shortened, and the cost can be reduced; (2) Selection of forest land. Pay attention to the rational selection of forest land and improve the limitation that small-scale forest land can only plant a single tree species.

3.2 Cultivate saplings according to the market

For intensive high-yield forest afforestation project, we should pay attention to the renewal and cultivation of tree species. Therefore, it is necessary to firmly grasp the development trend of forest trees in the market, carry out targeted cultivation, and select small-diameter fiber forests with high value and short growth period, so as to improve the quality of forest trees and improve the economic benefits of afforestation and forest management. It can be seen that the development of forest management needs to meet the requirements of market mechanism as the primary condition, carefully analyze the actual demand of the market, reasonably locate the specific direction of its development, find the best way to adjust forest resources, and make a detailed analysis of export and domestic forest resources, so as to make scientific planning.

3.3 Improve the quality of forestry afforestation

(1) Reasonably position forestry afforestation and change the overall thinking of afforestation, thus repositioning the focus, importance and practical impact of afforestation work; (2) Implement the responsibility system, while clarifying the job responsibilities and work scope of the staff, implement the relevant work responsibility system to ensure clear rewards and punishments; (3) From the reality, make an effective afforestation plan to ensure the overall quality of afforestation and meet the basic requirements of forestry production.

3.4 Combining economic laws to manage forestry production

3.4. 1 Determine the growth index of trees according to different forest types.

Afforestation is mainly through natural zoning, with provinces and districts as basic zoning units, planning barren hills and cutting areas, forming different types of afforestation, determining growth indicators according to their respective types, and making reasonable planning according to forest suitability and product specifications.

3.4.2 Strengthen the construction of forest seedling base.

When breeding excellent tree species, we should fully combine the long-term interests of forestry production, and expand the construction of local tree species bases while expanding the construction scale of seed orchard bases. At the same time, it is also necessary to appropriately increase the production ratio of the mother forest, improve its tending management, select old forests whose basic conditions meet the planting standards of the mother forest, or replace the aging mother forest with basically mature trees to build a planned mother forest base.

3.4.3 Implement the operation mechanism of live nursery.

In order to speed up the development of nursery management, forestry units can implement contract system or private management mode, and realize living nursery through competition and other management mechanisms. Enterprises can sign recycling contracts with nursery producers and operators, determine the reward and punishment system, and determine the price of seedlings according to different grades, so that operators can ensure the overall quality of trees on the basis of extensive planting, and regard seed orchards as the main market for seedlings, thus reducing the cost of seedling cultivation and activating competition in nurseries.

3.5 Strengthen afforestation tending management

3.5. 1 Young forest tending management

Young forest tending is the key to consolidate afforestation achievements and realize high yield and fast growth of cultivated tree species, but the process of young forest tending is easily influenced by external factors and needs active attention. After afforestation is completed, pay attention to check the exposed root system of seedlings in time, adjust the skew phenomenon of righting trunk and ensure the normal growth of seedlings. In order to avoid soil surface hardening, young tree growth diseases and other problems, it is necessary to weed and loosen the soil frequently to facilitate the healthy growth of seedlings.

3.5.2 Tending management of adult forests

In the process of afforestation, trees keep growing and developing, and the branches and leaves of trees are staggered and the spacing is reduced. Therefore, in order to provide sufficient light for all trees, ensure their light nutrition area, and create environmental conditions for them to maintain their shape and normal growth rate, pruning, tending and thinning must be carried out in time. When pruning branches and leaves and thinning, it should be noted that different tree species have different pruning ages and vigorous growth periods. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the age and season of trees reasonably and pay attention to the control of thinning intensity.

4 conclusion

From the above analysis, it can be seen that in the development of modern society, the implementation of forestry afforestation methods and production management measures is related to the future development of the whole forestry unit and the overall prospect of afforestation in China. Therefore, in afforestation, we must carry out targeted production and management work according to the actual geographical environment characteristics, so as to better serve social development and give play to our own value.
