On the Examination of Chinese Medicine Teachers

1. The doctor qualification examination for traditional medical students and those with real expertise is an examination to evaluate whether the applicants have the necessary professional knowledge and skills for practicing medicine. It is held once a year and is included in the national unified examination for medical qualifications.

2. The doctor qualification examination for traditional medical students and those with expertise is divided into the qualification examination for practicing doctors and the qualification examination for practicing assistant doctors. The examination methods are divided into practical skills examination and comprehensive medical written examination, and those who pass the practical skills examination can take the comprehensive medical written examination. The specific content and scheme of the examination shall be formulated by the Examination Committee for Physician Qualification of the Ministry of Health.

3. Those who meet one of the following conditions can apply to take the qualification examination for medical practitioners: first, teachers who have passed the qualification examination for medical practitioners and are recommended, or teachers who do have expertise; Second, teachers and professionals who have worked in medical institutions for five years under the guidance of practicing doctors after obtaining the practicing certificate of practicing assistant doctors.

4. Teachers who have passed the qualification examination for practicing assistant doctors and have been recommended or have expertise can apply for participating in the qualification examination for practicing assistant doctors.
